Ampicillin interferes with the cell wall synthesis by attachment to penicillin-binding proteins, inhibits cell wall peptidoglycan synthesis. Clavulanic acid is a beta lactamase inhibitor that works by preventing bacteria from destroying ampicillin.
Composition
Each 5ml contains:
- Ampicillin (as Ampicillin trihydrate) : 125mg
- Cloxacillin (as Cloxacillin Sodium) : 125mg
