Septran Paediatric Suspension is an antibiotic composed of Trimethoprim and Sulfamethoxazole. It is used for treating various bacterial infections in infants and children above two months of age. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria, thus reducing the infection.
Composition
Each 5ml contains:
- Trimethoprim: 40 mg
- Sulphamethoxazole: 200 mg
Suggested Usage.
- Childen 6-12 years: 2 tsp (10ml)
- 6 months-5 year: 1tsp (5ml)
- 2 weeks-5 months: 1/2 tsp (2.5ml)
